Heidelberg, 7 March 2026. Social networks are often shaped by pressure to perform, toxic comments and classic role clichés. Especially for young girls interested in topics such as programming, robotics or 3D design, the digital space often lacks a protected place where they can develop their passion freely. This is exactly the gap the new Girls' Innovation Club closes.
As an exclusive part of the Girls' Digital Camps, a social network has been created that was designed for girls from the ground up. It is a digital safe space focused entirely on networking, encouragement and the secure exchange of project ideas.

Safety by design: access only with training
What sets the Girls' Innovation Club apart is its strict access model. The platform is not publicly discoverable on the internet, nor can anyone simply register for it. To become part of the community, prior participation in a corresponding Girls' Digital Camps training session is mandatory.
This safety-by-design concept ensures that all members come to the platform with the same values of respect and digital civil courage. Anonymous trolls, bots or unauthorised third parties have no access. This creates a trusted environment in which the girls can share code snippets, get help with hardware projects or simply find like-minded peers for joint projects.
