2. Data collection on this website
Hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. Personal data collected on this website is stored on the hoster's servers. This primarily concerns IP addresses, meta and communication data, and website access logs (log files).
Legal basis: The use of Hetzner is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. There is a legitimate interest in providing this website as reliably and securely as possible.
Data processing agreement: A data processing agreement (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with Hetzner.
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which the visitor's browser automatically transmits. These include, among others, the browser type, the operating system used, the referrer URL, the hostname of the accessing computer, the time of the server request and the IP address. This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. These log files are additionally evaluated only in aggregate, anonymised form to produce reach statistics — self-hosted on our own server, without cookies and without passing data to any third party.
No cookies, no tracking
This website uses no cookies for analytics or marketing purposes and no cross-device tracking technologies. No profiles of visitor behaviour are created and no data is passed to third parties. A consent banner for cookies is therefore not required.
Only for purely technical and design-related functions does the website use the browser's local storage. The values stored there remain exclusively on the end device and are not transmitted to Innovation Tank gGmbH or to third parties:
Contact form
When you submit the contact form, the details you enter (name, email address, subject and your message) are transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to our own server and forwarded to us by email via our own mail server. No third-party form or tracking service is involved, and no data is transferred to countries outside the EU. To defend against spam, your IP address is processed only transiently and is not stored separately, beyond the server log files described above.
We process this data solely to handle your inquiry, on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering inquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) or, where the inquiry relates to a contract, to carry out pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). You can also reach us directly by email at hello@innovation-tank.de. We delete the data once your inquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods apply.
3. Fonts and external content
Self-hosted fonts
To ensure a consistent display of typefaces, web fonts are used that are delivered directly from this website's server. No connection is established to Google Fonts or any other external provider, so no personal data is transmitted to third parties when the fonts are loaded.
Icons
To display icons, the open-source library "Lucide" is used. It is likewise loaded locally from this website's server and not obtained via an external content delivery network (CDN). No data transmission to third parties takes place in this process.
4. Rights of data subjects
Data subjects have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about the origin, recipients and purpose of their stored personal data. There is also a right to request the correction, blocking or deletion of this data, as well as to revoke a consent that has been granted with effect for the future. The address given above can be used at any time for this purpose. Furthermore, there is a right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
