Heidelberg, March 7, 2026 – Social networks are often characterized by performance pressure, toxic comments, and classic role clichés. Especially for young girls who are interested in topics like programming, robotics, or 3D design, there is often a lack of a protected space in the digital realm where they can freely unfold their passion. The new Girls' Innovation Club closes exactly this gap.

As an exclusive part of the Girls' Digital Camps, we have created a social network that was designed from the ground up for girls. It is a digital "safe space" fully focused on networking, encouragement, and the secure exchange of project ideas.

"To build real self-confidence in technical disciplines, young women need spaces where mistakes are allowed and curiosity is celebrated – without the fear of unqualified comments from the outside."

Safety by Design: Access only with training

The special feature of the Girls' Innovation Club is its strict access model. The platform cannot be found publicly on the internet, nor can just anyone register for it. To become part of the community, prior participation in a corresponding training session of the Girls' Digital Camps is mandatory.

This "Safety by Design" concept ensures that all users enter the platform sharing the same values of respect and digital civil courage. Anonymous trolls, bots, or unauthorized third parties have absolutely no access. This creates a trusting environment where girls can share code snippets, seek help with hardware projects, or simply find like-minded peers for joint projects.
